Kenneth Bennett of the Registrar/Recorders office will show a power-point presentation and talk about voting systems and how we are approaching the challenge of a new system for LA County.

Make your own suffragist sash and go on a "Hands-On History" tour highlighting women's contributions to the West. Festivities include the opening of The Girl Scout's West, an exhibition curated by a Girl Scout for her Gold

Sheila Kuehl, former State Legislator and women's rights activist will tell the story of the first woman ever to vote in California. The MC for the evening is former Managing Editor of the Daily Breeze and very funny lady Jean Adelsman.

Enjoy a panel discussion on AB 109. Panelists include: Reaver Bingham, Deputy Chief, L.A. County Department of Probation; Brad Carson, HUB Deputies; Erick Cerda, HUB Deputies.
